Yes, it’s that time once again: the day I feature your fashion questions. Whatever the question, I would love to answer each one personally, and with as much detail as possible. I am looking to buy a pair of casual shoes and am trying to decide between loafers and boat shoes. Can you give me a recommendation as to which one I should go with? Can you tell me if loafers are in style and if they can be worn with jeans?

I personally don’t fancy either of the two but I’ll gladly discuss the pros and cons of each shoe type so that you can come to a conclusion on your own. Both loafers and boat shoes are classic Nike Shoes styles and have been on the men’s fashion landscape forever, but in all honesty, neither of them is actually trendy — at least not this season. Both shoe types can be worn with jeans, khakis, 4-pockets pants, and chinos.
Although they can both be worn Acheter Maillot De foot France with jeans, boat shoes tend to be sportier than loafers. So, for example, if you’re the type to wear your jeans with a T-shirt or a jersey knit, then you are probably better off going with boat shoes. On the other hand, if you tend to wear your jeans with a button-down shirt and sports jacket, then you might prefer loafers.
The great thing about loafers is that they can be worn all year round, so in a sense, they are more practical. But on the flip side, while you can wear boat shoes with shorts, the same cannot be said about loafers. Finally, unless you live in a warm climate, boat shoes are only suitable for three seasons and should not be worn in winter.

My husband is a good-looking man (of course) but I am not up on the fashion styles. He goes to work in button-down collared shirts with wrinkle-free pleated pants. I cannot make him change this format, so I decided to buy him some new pants and shirts. The problem is I bought him a pair of olive pants, and other pairs in tan-khaki and a gray-green color. What color goes with the olive and the gray-green? I know that almost anything goes with the tan-khaki color. I also bought him an aqua blue shirt Zapatillas Nike Baratas because I thought it would look good with his dark skin tone and eyes (he has brown hair and hazel eyes). Is this right?

In terms of color, you made a great choice because both olive and grayish-green pants are very versatile; they can be worn with brown (light or dark), black and burgundy shoes, and of course, with a matching belt. Depending on his belt and shoe combination, your husband can choose to wear his trousers with just about any earth tone, any shade of gray, black or brown, and even white.
You also scored with the aqua blue shirt, as it will help bring out his eyes and darker skin tone. But while the shirt might look okay when worn with his new pair of grayish-green pants, it probably won’t look as nice with his olive ones. Ideally, he should wear the aqua blue shirt with a pair of dark gray or navy blue trousers.
